Under the campaign launched by Pandit Kedarnath Charitable Trust and Rotary Club Ambala Central to make women self-reliant, sewing centers were inaugurated in different villages of Ambala. On this occasion, Ambala Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma joined as the chief guest and inaugurated the sewing center. On the occasion, he inaugurated sewing centres at Ladana, Chodamastpur, Matehri Shekha and Nadiali villages of Ambala.Ambala Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma said that these sewing centers have been opened to make women self-reliant. He said that women can do small work in their house by learning sewing and after learning sewing, they can also provide financial help to the family while working. He said that in view of this, these sewing centers have been opened so that women in rural areas can become financially strong by working at home in free time.In the same village Ladana, Mayor Shakti Rani Sharma fulfilled the promise made to the children and provided them cricket kits to play.
