In a shocking incident, a masked man robbed jewellers of Rs 80,000 cash and 600 grams of gold jewellery at gunpoint from a jewellery shop in Rewari on Friday. The traders demanded to build a police beat in this main market.Deputy Superintendent of Police Subhash Chand assured that a police beat will be set up here today where security personnel will be deployed and soon the accused of this robbery will be arrested for which three teams have been formed.Congress MLA Chiranjeevi Rao also reached among the traders and said that he will soon meet the SP and talk about making a police beat here today. He said that till date cameras could not be installed here, which is the failure of the police and on the other hand, unless there is barricading at the exit points of Rewari, it is impossible to stop these incidents.On the other hand, traders are also in an atmosphere of panic due to this incident, they say that the police need more vigilance to curb the increasing criminal incidents in the district so that the panic of the traders can end.
